Document Types

Meta-Writing Ecology has several public-facing document types.

These types are reading aids for public materials. They are not internal labels, completeness claims, or claims of validation.

Orientation pages

Orientation pages explain what a reader can do with the public website.

Examples include About the System, Entry Surfaces, Public Boundary, and Public Surface Map.

Traversal pages

Traversal pages help readers, crawlers, and citation systems move across public materials.

Examples include AI Reading Guide, AI-Readable Knowledge Architecture, Model Atlas, and GitHub-Visible Model and Navigation Index.

Public record pages

Public record pages point to citation, archive, publication, and platform surfaces.

Examples include Publications and DOI Records, Public Record Anchors, Citation Guide, and Platforms.

Fiction pages

Fiction pages are public narrative surfaces.

They can be read as fiction and as part of the public field of Meta-Writing Ecology, but they are not model proofs, full system explanations, or manuscript substitutes.

Boundary

Document type labels describe public reading functions only.

They do not describe non-public source structure, internal workflows, private working materials, or non-public working layers.
